Developer Profile

Boopathi Mahendran

I'm Boopathi, also known as Boopathi Mahendran or M Boopathi — a Full Stack Developer, Python Developer and IoT Developer from Tamil Nadu, India. This page is the short version of who I am, what I build, and where to find my work.

Who is Boopathi Mahendran?

Boopathi Mahendran is a B.Tech Information Technology student at M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering, Karur, and a freelance developer working alongside the degree. Most people know me simply as Boopathi; my work and profiles also appear under M Boopathi and Boopathi M. Those names all refer to the same person and the same portfolio at www.boopathi.tech.

The short description I use everywhere: Boopathi Mahendran is a Full Stack Developer, Python Developer and IoT Developer from Tamil Nadu, India. He builds web applications, Python systems, IoT projects and software solutions.

Technical background

My work sits on both sides of a line most developers only cross in one direction — software and hardware. On the software side I build responsive front ends and REST APIs; on the hardware side I design sensing and control systems around the ESP32. The projects I care about most are the ones that need both.

Skills

  • Languages: Python, JavaScript, C++ (Arduino), HTML, CSS, SQL
  • Web: Node.js, Flask, REST APIs, responsive front-end development
  • IoT & embedded: ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensor networks
  • Systems & cloud: Linux, Git, cloud hosting, self-hosted infrastructure
  • Other interests: artificial intelligence, computer vision, cybersecurity, networking

Projects

The full, filterable list lives in Boopathi's projects section. These three best represent the range:

HydroSmart — ESP32 IoT water management

An ESP32 sensing rig feeding a Python model-based reflex agent that controls a motor from live flow, temperature, current and voltage readings.

ESP32PythonIoT

1 TB personal cloud storage

A self-hosted Raspberry Pi storage server with an SSD — a private alternative to commercial cloud drives.

Raspberry PiLinux

LinkedIn screenshot OCR analyzer

A Python computer-vision tool that reads profile screenshots with OCR, scores them, and generates NLP-based career recommendations.

PythonOpenCVNLP

Programming practice

Alongside project work I write up algorithm problems in Python, explaining the reasoning rather than just posting an answer. Those write-ups live in Boopathi's LeetCode solutions.

Writing

I publish what I learn while building — driver problems, agent architectures, portfolio engineering. The index is Boopathi's developer blog, and two good starting points are the ESP32 Arduino IDE setup guide and fixing an ESP32 that won't show a COM port.
